I have a lot of jobs, and that was something I struggled with for some time.
Growing up we were taught to focus on finding ONE job that we can make our career.
Thankfully I stumbled across a blog and later a TED Talk that helped me see,
it's OKAY to have multiple jobs.
In fact, it might be even better (if that's what you're into).
One of my favorite jobs was project manager for an interior design project
..and now high end rental property in Key Colony Beach.
Which meant a new challenge and work trips to the Florida Keys!!
Say no more, I was all in! :)
It looked like it was straight out of the eighties!
Which meant,on top of being 3.5 hours away from where I live..
there would be a substantial amount of demo and renovation work
with new items while trying to create a totally new and original look
..on a strict budget
with an even stricter deadline..
but I love a challenge ;)
which meant putting in extra long days
and helping move the process along any way we could.
Even if it meant getting on the scaffolding and painting the focal wall ourselves.
I live for work like this.
From choosing the toilets, to hanging the blinds, and even spray painting those circles on the wall.
This project taught me so much and the house came together beautifully.
Literally.. JUST in time for the professional photoshoot.
Which is a huge part of why I loved this job so much.
Your team on a project like this can either make or break you.
I feel really lucky to work alongside of them.
